I just heard from Owais! Oh, goodness. He's in the hospital; he contracted a terrible case of TB and has been in the ICU. It sounds as though he'll recover, despite the severity; he was discovered in time and taken to the hospital and his mother and nurses have been caring for him. But please send love and good wishes and thoughts of healing. He misses it here.

I am sending love and good wishes!!! Siona, can you ask Owais if there is an address to which we can send a care package / get well package? I am really moved to send him something. I have really missed his unique contributions to this community.
I can certainly ask! He contacted me via a lengthy text message from a cell phone, and I'm not sure my replies are going through. I'll keep trying, though, and will let you know what I find out.

I have really been saddened & concerned about Owais' sudden silence @ Gaia lately & felt something was up… yes, please let us know if you recieve an address from him & of course, send him all our LOVE ! I just owe my sincere thank yous repeatedly, I feel so great n happy to have such wonderful n loving friends in my life.
yes indeedy missed this great community you all so wondrous missed highly though wanted to log into but does not have laptop n even dunno have my personal computer which caused me to stay away from u all. anyway now i could walk to cafe n again be in touch as like earlier used to be.
I just wish great n healthy n joyous moments shall bestow upon my friends constantly until their life, I wish always great n healthy n wisdomful for my friends, i hold u into my reverence n sincere thoughts, my best wishes to all of you.
