A torrid noon

Posted on May 29th, 2009 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
One friday in sultry, torrid Noon
parting away mosque after prayer
mingle into thick boisterous rabble
coarse hustle shove me on trot

Raucous treading on quagmire
hovering around billows of dust
vague glimpses of cap-heads pop out
in sluggish scuff on poor trails

Intrinsic pleasing smell of scented oils
suffuse prickly rank air scarcely sedative
dark low raunchy huts scatter densely
quaintly veiled females peek through window

shaggy looking scraggy kids
coarsely spun filthy tattered rags
peaky face frown in limp stand
longing shady nay haul up scorching noon
tedious quaver cadge voices
bumping ears constantly

Honks by long limousine
dispersed rowdy mob to rampage
broke me to moan in rankle
anguish by quaff like thirst
nay stiffling lousy stuffy atmosphere
cram me queasy and giddy to swoon

shelve to squat on parch sterile surface
sigh with gasps at length
roll gimlet eye over craggy beggars
stuff with puny,disabled,blind
fumbling flounce mob miserably
enduring savages in scalding noon
just for a penny to quench their ravenous
wide huge people but
scowl faces turning in despair
drop me to muse into
intricately impalpable irony of life
still intriguing mystery to me - RICH & POOR

a crispy evening

Posted on Mar 15th, 2009 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
strolling deep into repose pleasing evening wearing dark sheet of night, with many mickle of stars glinting over brace my eyes and keep soothing my soul with far incredible imaginations. shrieking of insects, euphonie murmurings of birds, sharp rustle resounding into quietude of nature conjure me into fancies. a pure wave of bliss drown me with its bewitching quiescent. shallow stream flirting with its silent and babbling. sometime howling and sometime being sneaky. and sitting around pond with feet under water to muse over ' so much ' still a quietude and peaceful refreshing state to soul.

What was the biggest adventure of your past year?

Posted on Jan 4th, 2009 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 31, 2008:

I felt inner peace, satisfied, happiest and became very relaxed when my only elder sister finally  got married in the first week of this past November as it was challenging for me because I belong to poorest family. I prayed thankgiving salah for Allah by whose mercy and helps she is married happily and satisfactorily lives with her honest diligent husband.
this memorable marriage of my sister would always be into my memories and this was a wonderful surprise and great adventure which happened unexpectedly rather. I thanked many many times to Allah for this alone. all praises and glories and holiness to almighty god.

A wintery morning

Posted on Dec 20th, 2008 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
at the break of the wintery morning
once in a village of the Uttar Pradesh
lazily rose, cladded  woolens heavely
reached chilling water to complete Vazoo
though shivering but reached mosque
whilst returning dark foggy billows hanging all around
walking with trumpling feet, rubbing hands and exhaling playfully
streets wearing deserted with grim look
this rare adventurous morning provoked me to walk further
sharp freezing winds blowing swiftly without mercy
leaves daub with patches of mists
moistures stagnant at blades of grasses gracefully
peasants still engage into farmings
some were nestle together by fire
scattered huts appearing dilapidated
that lively babble river halted to silence
those notorious, chirpy birds froze to indolence
serene, damp and icy morning almost compelled every to laziness
but as to return myself to home
slight hue of sunrays
keep tearing the thick misty atmosphere
and finally sun melt away laziness.

Where would you recommend people give their time?

Posted on Dec 20th, 2008 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 20, 2008:

I THINK PEOPLE SHALL STRIVE IN BRINGING PEACE ACROSS THE GLOBE. WE NEED TO FIGHT TERRORISM HARSHLY INDIVIDUALLY rather depending upon government agencies because they themselves are entwining it with their own political gains I,E Iraq War. THE BIGGEST AND CHALLENGING PROBLEM IN TODAY'S WORLD IS TERRORISM. MANKIND NEEDS TO STAND TOGETHER TO COPE WITH THIS NEW DEADLY PROBLEM.

On the behalf of muslims, I want to say that no muslims wants terrorism even they considered as disgusting, mean and shameless act by a man on the Earth as it has been accepted, acknowledged by mankind over the world.

It is nothing but a political tacts or controversy by few bad elements of society who are greed of moneys, power ( dictatorship ) and to spread the feeling of animosity among jews, christians. SINCE people are very poor just as penurious and illiterate even to their own religion so these bad and maliced people brain-washed them easily by luring lots moneys and falsely guiding them in the name of jehads.

In the glorious Quran, Allah says

" If you kill a person then you have killed whole humanity "
killing even one person is heinous sin in the sight of Allah

In the Hadith of prophet Mohammed ( peace n blessings of allah be upon him ), Allah's messenger quoted when someone shows anger over any one among all created creatures of the world even an ant then he wonot be able to spare himself from the anger of almighty Allah on the DAY OF RESSURECTION or JUDGEMENT DAY.

infact the meaning of ISLAM. islam is derived from an arabic word SALAM which means peace and ee means submitting will to almighty God. therefore Islam means Peace obtained by submitting will to almighty God.

Nowhere in the glorious Quran or in the Hadith of the prophet Mohammed ( peace n blessings be upon him ) is written that jehad is holy war and to kill innocent non-muslims.

infact meaning of jehad in the Hadith has been defined as to struggle with own self.
it has broad meaning implying to sacrifice appetites or kill negative desires. to give Jakat ( charity largely in the way of poors ), to pray immensely, to fast and so. this is what Allah's messenger prophet Mohammed  ( peace, blessings be upon him )

What is your idea of heaven?

Posted on Dec 14th, 2008 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 14, 2008:

verily I believe in after life, heaven and hell.

now, this is the truth because

the mightiest messengers of almighty God { few listed as Jesus christ ( peace n blessings be upon him ), moses ( peace n blessings be upon him ) Ibrahim ( peace n blessings be upon him ) Joseph ( peace n blessings be upon him ) and the last messenger prophet Mohammed ( peace n blessings be upon him )
and also the four only books from almighty God, named as

1) Tauret ( revealed unto David - peace n blessings be upon him )
2) Zubur also known as old testament ( revealed unto moses - peace n blessings be upon him )
3) Ingil  as new testament or popularly known as Holy Bible  ( revealed unto Christ - peace n blessings be upon him )
and the last book The Glorious holiest Quran for whole mankind revealed unto last messenger prophet Mohammed ( peace n blessings be upon him )

therefore It is written in these greatest, holiest books about hereafter life, heaven and hell and so these messengers of God orally also said. hence, accordingly Jewish brothers n sisters , christians brothers n sisters and muslims brothers n sisters shall believe in After life, heaven and hell verily because whoever believe in these true and mighty messengers and holy books of Almighty God.

If you believe in bible n jesus christ ( peace, blessings be upon him ) then it is logical to believe in hereafter life, heaven.

so is for judaism and so for Islam.

What have you been the most naive about?

Posted on Dec 8th, 2008 by owais : Be good, Do good owais
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 08, 2008:

that the people changes with the time passes or even in the static time , it is so mean part of people that all of sudden deny their own friends to recognise them. I do not know why do people do such things to people, maybe they do not come up to know or understand other people's thoughts or opinions.
you know friends the most gnawing thing that linger into one's heart or brain is when you ignore someone esp. your friends.

I think Ignorance is the disease and mostly people suffer out of it, it is just hindrance in absolute peace to soul and weapons to create people more inclined to animosity.
